2 Best Cheap Laptops for Editing YouTube Videos
When it comes to cheap laptops, there are not many great options, to be honest. But I still went ahead and looked for the best cheap laptops for editing YouTube videos. I will only be able to include like a maximum of two laptops, because finding such laptops is just a hassle really, as your options are also limited because of the limited budget.

Now let’s go ahead and see what those two laptops are and how much they cost.
#1 Acer Nitro 5
Acer Nitro 5 is one of my favourite laptops to recommend for whoever is on a budget and still needs a good processor that can perform multicore processing easily and has a dedicated GPU to handle gaming at the same time.
It has a Ryzen 5 4600H processor that is more than enough for editing YouTube videos on a budget. Not only that, but it also has a dedicated GPU; GTX 1650 inside which will also be helpful sometimes with some of the effects that you will use that require GPU in Premiere Pro. There aren’t a lot of those effects, but they’re still are and it is always a good thing to have a dedicated GPU in the laptop, especially if it is on a budget, as you’ll not find many laptops with dedicated GPUs around this price range.
It also has an 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256GB of SSD that’s more than enough in this price range, because I bought Helios 300 in 2018 for over 1,000 dollars and it had the same amount of SSD in it as well- now you’re getting it for so much cheaper.
You will also be able to play games on it, or maybe live-stream on YouTube if you have a channel of your own and are not just editing YouTube videos for clients as a freelancer.
There is another version of this laptop that comes with Intel processor, but that is more expensive and would not come under our cheap laptop’s category, so I did not include that laptop here.
#2 Asus Tuf Gaming Laptop
This has a little bit weaker CPU inside- still Ryzen but a bit weaker, which is why I have put it on the 2nd place and on the 1st is a more powerful laptop in less price.
Tuf Gaming laptop from Asus has a Quad-Core Ryzen 5 3550H processor, which as I mentioned is weaker than the 4600H in the Acer Nitro 5, 37% weaker, to be exact.
It also has the same GPU that is in the Acer Nitro 5, GTX 1650.
Looking at all the specs, there is no reason to list this laptop if the above-mentioned one is cheaper and has more powerful components, right? Yes, you would be right. I only listed it in case if you can not purchase the above laptop, you will have another option that is almost as same and in almost the same price point.
The Upgrade
Once you have learned how to edit videos or just want to upgrade your laptop to get more performance, I would highly recommend that you go with the Acer Predator Helios 300. It has a beast of a 10th gen Six-Core i7 9750H CPU that goes up to 5.0 GHz which is insane because even desktop PCs could not go to 5 GHz a few years ago from now.
