How to Share Your Screen on Your Google Hangout (2020)
You can share what’s on your screen at the moment with your Google+ Hangout participants. This is a useful option for social marketers as it allows you other media options to showcase your brand. For example, it is useful for sharing a slide deck for a presentation or for showing a website or online video.
1. From inside a Hangout, click the Screenshare button in the top menu bar.
A new window appears.
2. Select the screen you want to share.
You can share your desktop, your Hangout screen, a Google document you’ve uploaded, or an internet browser window you have open. You will have the opportunity to choose what you want to share.
3. Click the Share Selected Window button, and it opens in a new window.
After you’ve finished sharing, just close your shared screen window, and you and your guests will automatically return to your Hangout screen.
Note
Your Hangout participants will see everything on your desktop screen in real-time, so make sure you have sensitive information that you don’t want to see or Internet windows are closed!
